Manjari is a non-governmental organization (NGO) based in Rajasthan, India. Manjari is supporting the cause of women’s and children’s development. Child rights protection, gender equality and sexual and reproductive health and rights are the main focus areas of their work. Direct intervention through implementation of programs/ projects and advocacy for the cause are two important ways of working. In Talera, Bundi district, Manjari -in partnership and support of ICN – initiated a project in Budhpura in 2013, following the concept of ‘Child Labour Free Zones’ (CLFZ).

The India Committee of the Netherlands (ICN) is an independent non-governmental organization campaigning and doing advocacy work on human rights issues. Central to the work of ICN are the issues of child labour & education, labour rights and caste-based discrimination. ICN co-operates with organizations in India and elsewhere focusing on the role of policy makers and companies. ICN is an active member of networks like the Stop Child Labour coalition, the Clean Clothes Campaign and the International Dalit Solidarity Network.

Stop Child Labour is a coalition consisting of four non-governmental organizations, including ICN, and two trade unions based in the Netherlands. Stop Child Labour aims to eliminate all forms of child labour and to ensure quality fulltime education for all children until the age of 15. Stop Child Labour promotes an area-based approach towards the creation of ‘Child Labour Free Zones’ (CLFZ) in India and several countries in Africa. Based on research it cooperates and advocates with companies, governments and (inter)national and local organisations to take action to make supply chains free of child labour. Since 2015 Stop Child Labour collaborates with ICN and Manjari in creating CLFZ in Budhpura.
